Audley Infant School is a hardworking and successful school that has the Audley Community at the heart of all that we do.



We are looking for the right person who has the knowledge and skills but most importantly the care and resilience to support our families.



You will have the skills to resolve the 'quick fix' day to day issues for our families both at home and in school but also the secure and current knowledge of the safeguarding system to support families and school with significant safeguarding concerns. You will be the lead for attendance and support families to secure good attendance. You will be the lead for pupils with medical needs. You will be the point of contact for admissions and new starters to school.





You must have some experience of:


Being the day to day contact and first port of call for families with issues and concerns beyond education. Leading attendance and school inclusion procedures, liaising with the Inclusion Team. Pupil induction to school, supporting and sign posting new arrivals and asylum seekers to support services. Ensuring their transition is smooth and welcoming. The external BwD family support system, from early help services through to Child Protection. You will be required to liaise closely with social services and external agencies, lead at family support/child protection conferences and write requested reports. You will update the HT and teaching staff with key information and progress. Liaise with the school nursing team regarding pupil medical conditions and ensure that medical conditions are documented and supported robustly in school. Be the key link and support for parent support groups. Be the key link for school vaccinations/eye and dental checks. Be proactive, personable and persistent. Have secure ICT skills for keeping records and producing attendance data
