Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Ledger to join our accounts team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in processing and coding the company's invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.

Duties

:

Print and save the Group Accounts Email Box. Query incomplete or incorrect invoices with suppliers. Coding and entering Contract invoices on to system before sending them out for signature. Coding and entering Maintenance invoices on to system and sending them to Maintenance. Amending invoice status of the double signed invoices on their return to accounts. Amending invoice status from a SIMPRO report from Maintenance. Correcting any Coding errors on the returned invoices. Following up unsigned invoices. Assist / Cover Telephone queries and Statement Reconciliation. Any other duties as and when required.

Qualifications:



Proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar position is preferred. Knowledge of accounting software. Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to analyse and file financial information and reports Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A background in finance or accounting is desirable but not essential; relevant qualifications will be considered an asset.

Working Hours and Benefits:



Full Time, Permanent, Office Based Contracted Monday-Friday Working Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm 25 Days Holiday per annum + bank holidays Benefits include private healthcare & company pension
