Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our payments team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable and ensuring accurate financial records. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and strong analytical skills to support our purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

Manage and process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable and maintain up-to-date financial records. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses as required. Utilise accounting software such as Collosus Maintain an organised filing system for all purchase documents and correspondence. Provide support during audits by ensuring all necessary documentation is readily available. Instrastat reconcilliation

Qualifications

Proficiency in computer and software use. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles. Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role within finance or accounts payable is preferred.
