Michael Page are partnering with a successful business looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their accountancy department.

  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records in the purchase ledger system.
  • Assist with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • Respond to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

In order to be considered for the Purchase Ledger Clerk role, you must be able to do most, if not all of the above.
Our client is based in Bournemouth, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the accountancy team needs additional support.
  • Salary circa 28,000.
