We're looking for a detail orientated individual to join our Purchase Ledger Team. If you're organised, accurate and good with people, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing
In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate processing of supplier invoices and will work closely with colleagues across our branches, as well as external suppliers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Communicating daily with internal teams and external suppliers via phone, email and in person
Printing, scanning and processing supplier invoices to maintain accurate financial records
Checking and posting invoices for payment while ensuring accuracy and compliance
Matching invoices with purchase orders and liaising with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies
Ensuring all invoice and credit note calculations (including VAT) are correct and compliant with purchase ledger procedures
Completing goods received checks on accrual and resolving any related queries
Investigating and responding to internal and external invoice queries promptly
Archiving invoices and maintaining organised documentation
Answering incoming calls and assisting with finance-related queries
Following Macgregors quality processes and procedures to consistently meet business standards
Contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes
