Job Description

We are a family run haulage firm on the outskirts of Leeds (LS15) and are looking to recruit an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy accounts department reporting to the Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities:



Purchase ledger - collate / match / check / enter / scan purchase invoices.

Processing / checking self-billing accounts.

. Cash postings.

Reconciling supplier statements.

Chasing authorisation of invoices and liaising with suppliers / customers.

Ad-hoc office / administration duties and general support to the Financial Controller.

The successful candidate:



Previous experience within a similar role and ability to take ownership.

Excellent communication and 'customer facing' skills, written and oral.

Good attention to detail.

Strong IT user and must be confident using Excel.

Excellent numerical skills.

Ability to work to deadlines.

Qualified by experience, with at least 12 months experience in a similar role. AAT qualifications would be an advantage.

. Ideally Sage Intacct experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 26,000.00 per year
