Job Description

We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team of 12 working for a successful company based south of Norwich. Your new role will play a vital part in our growth plans and will help ensure the continued success of the business.

Key Duties



Registration and posting purchase invoices (150 invoices/week) Investigate invoice queries or discrepancies, with both suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues causing invoice queries before due date and provide weekly update to Accounts Payable Manager Weekly Payment Runs Cash Allocations Raising Debit Notes and keeping records Supplier statement reconciliations New supplier account set up and maintenance Assisting during annual Audit Holiday cover for team members Ad hoc tasks
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous purchase ledger experience working in a busy finance environment and will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Good working knowledge of Microsoft and Business Central Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines, prioritise daily tasks and high attention to detail Strong communication skills Be able to work on your own initiative and take ownership of allocated tasks but also team player
