Summary
We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our dynamic finance team at Carvansons. This role is essential in managing our accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Manage the purchase ledger process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in accounting software.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Requirements
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage Intact is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.
Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
