The Role



We require a Purchase Ledger Clerk to handle the processing of invoices for the group to be based at their Stockport offices (35 hours a week). Salary for the role is 26,000 per annum.

This role will report to the Head of Accounting and will include the following:-

Key Responsibilities:



Matching and checking supplier invoices against purchase orders Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently on Sage Line 50 Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies Assisting with bank postings and reconciliations Supporting the finance team with month-end close processes Ability to process invoices in multiple currencies for multiple organisations Providing general finance support as needed

Necessary Skills and Experience:



At least 3 years experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk/ Accounts Payable Clerk is essential A strong understanding of invoice processing and supplier reconciliations Good Excel skills and experience using Sage Line 50 for multi currency transactions Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high-volume workload Great communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
