Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Purchase Ledger Clerk to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Finance Director, on a full-time permanent basis (39 hours) - Monday to Thursday: 8am-4.30pm / Friday: 8am-1pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices and credits
Monitor the relevant inbox, liaising with company suppliers, chasing invoices and raising queries in a timely manner
Enter purchase invoices, and match them with the correct delivery notes, verifying them against purchase orders
Reconcile statements
Liaise with internal department heads to verify spending (including expenses)
Ensure accurate allocation of payments
Undertake any other reasonable activities in support of the finance team
Skills and Attributes:
Competent use of SAGE Accounts 50 in a previous role is essential
Prior use of Google Suite (Sheets, Calendar, Docs, Drive)
or
Microsoft Office experience
Previous experience in purchase ledger duties and responsibilities would be advantageous
Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail
