We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join the Trust to cover a period of Maternity Leave, to work as a key member of the Finance Team managing the purchase ledger and other duties across the Trust.

Main Duties Include:
The daily processing, paying and filing of invoices using Access software accounting systems
Working with the Finance Systems Coordinator to ensure that the systems efficient, fit for purpose and fully used by the Finance Officers across the Trust
To oversee and Line Manage Finance Officers across various sites within the Trust, carrying out quality assurance on work completed by the team
Support in the planning and organising of workload to ensure month end and year end close procedures are adhered to by the required deadlines
To oversee the payment runs produced by Finance to ensure suppliers are paid on time, acting as the point of contact to resolve any concerns with suppliers should they arise
Professionally qualified (AAT) or qualified through experience in managing finance processes such as Purchase Ledger and significant experience in using Microsoft Excel is a must.
