Job Description

Purchase Ledger Officer will oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role requires strong attention to detail and a focus on maintaining financial accuracy within the accounting and finance department

  • Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with policies.
  • Maintain accounts payable records and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and audits as required.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address payment-related queries.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

A successful Purchase Ledger Officer should have:
  • Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

  • Willingness to undertake AAT studies, if not already qualified
