Job Description
The Purchasing Co-Ordinator role is a vital position within the Procurement & Supply Chain department, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a well-organised, proactive approach. The role is based in Liverpool and is integral to our industrial / manufacturing operations.
- Coordinating purchasing activities and maintaining supply inventory
- Implementing procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money
- Performing all aspects of purchasing from negotiation to delivery
- Developing relationships with suppliers for long term growth
- Working closely with other departments within the organisation
- Ensuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures
- Identifying areas for improvement in the procurement process
- Contributing to the company's sustainability initiatives
- An understanding of procurement processes and strategic sourcing
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
