Our business is growing, and with large stock deliveries arriving daily, we're looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Purchasing and Stock Coordinator to join our busy Operations and Administration team.
The Role
As the Purchasing and Stock Coordinator, you'll be the central link between our suppliers and our operational teams -- ensuring every consumable, tool, and piece of stone arrives on time, at the right price, and in perfect condition.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly, and where keeping clear, accurate records is key to keeping everything running smoothly.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Ordering all consumables, tools, and materials needed for fabrication and installation.
Managing the purchasing and delivery of stone from a variety of suppliers.
Tracking and maintaining stock levels, ensuring the workshop and fitting teams always have what they need.
Adjusting orders and priorities as schedules change -- staying flexible and calm under pressure.
Keeping purchase logs, delivery records, and supplier notes up to date and accurate.
Negotiating prices, securing discounts, and seeking new suppliers to keep costs competitive.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and delivery partners.
Working closely with the Operations and Administration team to ensure smooth daily workflow.
Supporting other operational or administrative duties once trained and established in the role.
