The role

As a P-Way Multi-Skilled Operative, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary. You will carry out track renewals work as directed by the Senior Supervisor.

Day to day you will work in a larger team and report into the senior supervisor. You will also assist with carrying out renewals on the track and assist with other duties as set out by the supervisor.

• Assist with carrying out Track Renewals work as directed by the Supervisor
• Assist with auxiliary duties as required
• Undertake work as directed, ensuring acceptable productivity and workmanship. Ensuring that all work complies with current quality and group / line standards.
• Ensure all work is carried out taking due cognisance of personal safety and safety of colleagues.

Essential experience of the P-Way Multi-Skilled Operative:

• Knowledge of Rules and Regulations, HASAW Act and other appropriate statutory regulations.
• Able to drive or willing to learn.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge.

140 hours over 4 weeks, works out at 35 hour week. This will include shifts, including a lot of nights / weekends - 3 weekends in 4.
