- Python Developer



Key Responsibilities



Configure, secure, and maintain DNS infrastructure for reliability and protection against threats.


Develop Python-based automation scripts and tools for DNS filtering, monitoring, and data processing.


Implement security best practices to safeguard DNS traffic and prevent misuse.


Design and manage data pipelines for filtering and extracting insights from large datasets.


Work with multithreading and multiprocessing to optimize performance in automation workflows.


Explore and integrate serverless architectures for scalable and cost-effective solutions.


Collaborate with internal teams, build rapport, and maintain open communication to ensure smooth operations.


Stay updated with evolving security regulations, including UK Security Acts and compliance requirements.


Research and apply emerging technologies like Generative AI to improve security, automation, and operational efficiency.


Troubleshoot technical challenges, share learnings, and propose improvements to enhance system robustness.

Required Skills & Experience



Strong proficiency in Python programming


Experience with DNS configuration, filtering, and security.


Knowledge of network security principles and common attack vectors.


Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or GCP Cloud Functions).


Understanding of security laws & compliance in the UK (or willingness to learn quickly).


Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.


Excellent communication and team collaboration skills to build rapport and foster trust.


Curiosity about Generative AI and its application in security and automation domains.

Preferred Qualifications


Prior experience in DNS security operations or network administration.


Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).


Experience in implementing automation pipelines for security and monitoring.


Awareness of emerging security frameworks and compliance standards.
