Medicina Ltd is a leading distributor of medical devices in the UK and internationally. Part of the HMC Premedical S.p.A. group, the Medicina division specializes in enteral feeding and gastrostomy devices. The Quality Administrator/Technician is part of the Quality & Regulatory Affairs team, who lead the business in ensuring that we meet the strict regulatory requirements for placing medical devices on the market.
We are looking for a team member with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under their own initiative to resolve problems and ensure that product is correctly assessed.
The role is to ensure that incoming products meet the agreed product specification and are released for sale in accordance with documented procedures. In addition, to support the QA/RA team in maintaining the Quality Management System.
The role involves quality systems administration, checking supplier documents against Medicina specifications, completing functional testing, and physical quality checks to ensure that products meet our requirements.
In addition, to ensure that suppliers are informed of all product non-conformances and to assist with the investigation into non-conformances.
This role provides a great opportunity to gain wider experience in quality and regulatory affairs as part of a team that works closely together to maintain and improve our quality systems.
Our ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience in quality or a related field, and will be educated to A Level/A Level equivalent or above.
Medicina offers 20 days holiday a year plus UK public holidays, with up to 4 additional days per year based on attendance.
We also contribute 8% to your pension through the group contributory pension scheme.
