The Role: QA Assistant



We are currently looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Assistant to join our busy dynamic operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for people who enjoy "hands-on quality inspections" within in a busy modern manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate must enjoy being "hands on", be an accomplished communicator, who can assist with improvements within the factory processes and help to deliver a real culture of quality across all facilities.

Responsibilities



Be a visible presence on the shop floor and a first point of contact for all quality matters Work closely with all staff to ensure products are compliant and manufactured right first time Perform in-process checks to ensure product complies with quality standards Perform daily facility checks to ensure factory complies with the principles of cGMP Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained to defined schedules and that faulty equipment is segregated Ensure retain product samples are maintained for use in investigations and stability studies Ensure segregation of any non-conforming product, liaise with personnel at all levels to participate in investigations to establish causes, raise in Q pulse and weekly report Participate in customer complaint investigations and liaise with personnel at all levels to ensure relevant causes are established and that appropriate corrective actions are in place Participate in environmental testing of manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with EU standards Ensure all manufacturing records are completed accurately

Hours of work:



This shift pattern rotates each week between:

Mon to Thu 08.00 to 16.30 (32hrs per week)
