Quality Assurance Auditor

\xc2\xa313.21 p/h | 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days)

The QA Auditor will ensure that the product quality and site standards are maintained at all times and that the product meets the customer\'s expectations and is legally compliant in all aspects.

Some responsibilities include:
  • Ensure that intake checks are completed on all raw materials.
  • Complete relevant paperwork, record and logs for Quality procedures.
  • Conduct relevant audits.
  • Regularly working with SOP\'s.
  • Shelf life analysis and NPD product testing as required.
  • Work with production stakeholders regularly
  • Support in customer complaints investigation.
  • Supporting delivery of departmental KPI\'s.
  • Assist with any incidents eg. allergens spillage, glass / hard plastic, blade breakages etc.
Person Specification
  • Experience within a Food manufacturing or fulfilment environment.
  • Experience in a QC, QA or Food Technical role
  • Practical auditing experience.
  • Chilled food experience (advantageous)
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, BRC and GMP would be a real advantage.
  • Practical allergen management knowledge
  • A high level of computer literacy including working knowledge of google and/or microsoft applications
  • Risk assessment & decision making skills
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A confident and forward thinking team player.
  • Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and problem solving.
  • Ambitious and looking to progress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work cross functionally, working in a collaborative way to drive improvement.
