QA Auditor

Position type: Permanent Full-Time

Pay range: 31,058.00


Paid Breaks: 1 x 15 minutes and 1 x 30 minutes

Hours/ Shift Pattern: Rotating weeklyNights: Sunday: 18:00 - 06:00 / Monday - Thursday: 22:00 - 06:00 Afters: Monday - Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00 Days: Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00 / Friday: 06:00 - 18:00

Responsibilities:
Conduct audits (PFS, Glass & Plastic, Cleaning Standards) and report findings promptly. Investigate Quality or Food Safety incidents, NCRs, and customer complaints; implement corrective actions using root cause analysis. Manage calibration, micro testing schedules, and food safety checks (ATP/allergen swabs). Support daily taste panels, technical tracker updates, and documentation for audits/complaints. Hold or repair out-of-spec products; sign off rework and raise waivers as needed. Ensure site calibration for scales and probes are completed. Testing and Inspection of Chocolate Tankers where required. Deliver Critical Control Point (CCP) training and act as Quality Champion across the site.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Auditor in a food manufacturing environment Knowledge of retailer standards Auditor training Attention to detail Strong administrative skills and use of Excel and Word Strong communicator Level 2 Food Safety Level 2 HACCP
