JOB CONTENT

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The employee has overall responsibility for line checks to ensure finished product specifications are met.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

To conduct specified line checks of:-

Correct product cut / appearance / size and shape to the published Quality Specification

Pack seal / gas / label to the published Quality Specification

Label alignment / copy / print / bar code readability / use by code to the Quality Specification

Case weight / appearance / strapping / labelling to the Quality Specification

Pallet integrity

Approval and release of checked product to production or despatch

To complete QC documentation as defined by HACCP

TO ENSURE THAT -

Each product line is set up and runs to specification and that written requirements are followed

All records associated with HACCP and Quality are correctly completed in a timely manner

That any issues are reported to QA, Team Leader as required

All records are secured at the end of the day

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualification and other requirements

- HACCP level 2.

Technical Skills

- Basic IT skills - MS Office, spreadsheet and word style documents.

- Site, company, and product knowledge to verify product standards.

- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

- Relevant experience in a previous role

WORKING PATTERN

Location: Thorne, Doncaster.

Monday to Friday- As per the roaster prepared by the manager
