Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within our organisation, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and implementing effective quality management systems. The Quality Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality throughout the organisation.

Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HACCP standards and other regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Analyse data from quality metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process enhancements. Collaborate with production teams to establish quality control measures and provide training on best practices. Lead investigations into product non-conformities and implement corrective actions as necessary. Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, presenting findings to senior management and recommending improvements. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality management practices.

Experience

Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment. Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and experience in implementing food safety management systems. Proficient in data analysis techniques, with the ability to interpret complex data sets to inform decision-making. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. A proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating initiative in driving quality improvements.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
