Job Description


A key role which encompasses all aspect of day to day QA duties including analysis of loads arriving on site, monitoring output quality of all product leaving site, ensuring best technical standards are maintained in the prepared factory and communication of quality throughout the departments.

Your Time at Work
- Be flexible when needed, working with the team to provide a service to all departments.

- Be proactive in working with the factory to move the business forward. Technical;

- Completing QA documents as required by schedule

- Ensuring samples are collected for testing schedules and testing schedules are met

- Logging micro samples

- Review and trend data analysis from micro system on monthly basis

- Accurate carrying out of positive release checks for all finished products

- GMP audits/ Glass and plastic audits, including generation of improvement areas, completing database

- Ensure close outs of non conformances

- Sampling and recording of finished product shelf life

- Carryout of routine checks including temperature, probe calibrations, product checks etc

- Active member of internal audits team by carrying out several internal audits

- Follow Health and Safety policies in the work area and actively report near misses via "Lets Sort It".

- Review compliance and carry out analysis for all raw materials and packaging arriving on site

- Ensure full traceability on all raw materials and packaging arriving on site

- Facilitate the daily taste panel, ensuring non compliance actions are carried out as required, database is updated and graphs are displayed on site.

- Control and generation of printing labels, including outer case and internal

- Assist in complaint investigations

- Ensure that all the team is trained to cover all areas and against SOP\'s

- Actively involved in generation of new SOP\'s

- Maintain the library samples of all packaging

- Running of traceability exercises, including feedback were non compliance areas are found

- To assist the Quality manager in preparing for external audits

- To assist the Quality manager in investigating and taking the necessary corrective actions from any non conformances that are raised from both internal and external audits.

- Act as a mentor to line operatives, ensuring they understand our high standards, whilst eradicating any bad practices
