Create, maintain and enact SEPA's Test Policy to contribute to SEPA's overall IS strategy from a testing perspective Define and continuously improve test processes and procedures that enable the team to work efficiently Create test strategies, test plans, test completion reports and other relevant documents for work undertaken by the team Lead on the planning and coordination of testing activities across a range of projects, ensuring resources are effectively allocated and timelines are met Ensure all test documentation is clear, accessible, and meets both technical and non-technical stakeholder needs Provide guidance and support to team members on testing practices, helping to resolve queries and ensure adequate test coverage Be a point of contact for technical testing aspects, leading on the overall automation and performance testing strategies Oversee the test environments, including approving and coordinating releases between test and preproduction environment

This is a highly important role within our Finance, Modernisation & Digital portfolio, which means you'll need:


Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered Solid understanding of functional and non-functional test analysis and best practices Thorough knowledge and experience of working with technical testing disciplines such as test automation and performance testing Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical and non-technical testing practices to a wide range of stakeholders People management experience, with a proven track record of developing and support, including carrying out appraisals and setting objectives
