What You'll Do



Perform goods in and out inspections. Perform spectral/optical testing on filter material. Perform regular inspections and testing in accordance with company procedures, including the inspection and sign-off of Assembly Engineer's work, First Article Inspections Carry out internal audits in line with the annual internal audit schedule. Ensure workspace, operations, product builds, processes and procedures fully comply with the requirements of the ISO9001:2015 and ATEX QAN standards. To assess inspection processes to ensure that they remain 'fit-for-purpose' both for goods in/out and production inspection. Recognise issues and raise non-conformance reports accordingly, assigning them to appropriate members of staff. Assist process owners with root cause analysis and corrective action planning activities whilst ensuring Non-Conformance documentation is completed in line with target completion dates. Contribute to the continued improvement of procedures, practices and operations within the business.

What You Need to Have



The ability to be able to read technical drawings and understand complicated and detailed international specifications & standards Knowledge within a technically complex manufacturing/assembly environment. In depth knowledge of goods in/out inspection processes. Experience and knowledge of RCCA processes. Experience of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR). Experience of carrying out internal audits. Proficiency in the use of basic measuring equipment i.e. Vernier Gauges, Micrometres, Thread Gauges, Multimeters etc. A can do, positive attitude Care in how you approach your work and how you treat your colleagues. Self-motivation Excellent attention to detail. Driving License or ability to get to rural location.

What You Need to Be



Prepared to be trained in the use of Electrical and Optical Test equipment. Eager to learn and quick to pick things up A clear communicator with great organisation skills. A nice person - an absolute must! Good team player. Able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines.
