THE ROLE:
Join us as our
QC Compliance Officer
within the QC Laboratory department.
You will work as part of a high performing and established team and will play a key role to ensure the smooth introduction of new raw materials, packaging, componentry, and bulk products, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.

Swadlincote, this role is site based, there may also be some requirement to travel.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
1.
Ensuring all tasks within the department are carried out in an efficient and positive manner.
2.
Liaise with other departments to ensure compliance for packaging components.
3.
Maintain a database of all packaging component questionnaires, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
4.
Compliance approval of new packaging materials and new externally manufactured products.
5.
Assist with the creation of documents for the approval of raw material followed by formal control of issue.
6.
Ensure the QC Compliance Manager is informed of any issues.
7.
Contribute to any relevant meeting as required.
8.
To assist in training of others when required.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Be a self-disciplined self-starter with the ability to work autonomously. You will have excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively, you will also ideally have:
Proven experience in a QC laboratory in a similar industry with healthcare experience.
2 years direct experience in quality.
Have experience and knowledge of raw material compliance and packaging compliance for food products.
Familiarity with BRCGS standards.
Ability to solve problems.
Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong IT skills.
Experience in dealing with customers internal and external.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external networks.
Have strong influencing and negotiation skills.
