Job Description

YouSeq is a biotechnology company that makes molecular testing kits that are used in hospitals and labs around the world to help fight cancer and other diseases.

This role is responsible for performing quality control and manufacturing processes to ensure the accurate and timely production of positive control templates and singleplex units. You will maintain a well organised laboratory environment by overseeing the stock take and maintenance of consumables, as well as managing the ordering and goods-in processes for QC lab items. You will also collaborate closely with the dispatch team to ensure the correct and timely supply of positive control templates for customers.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Stock take and maintenance of postivie control template and QC lab consumables

Rack, lid and label components manufactured in the QC Labs

Ordering and goods-in of QC lab related items

Preparing gBlocks for dispatch

Routine QC lab coat and mop head cleaning

Essential qualifications/skills:

Excellent eye for detail
Desirable:

Confidence working to quality management systems, e.g. ISO 9001/ISO 13485
Job type:

Full time, initially a 6-month contract with the potential to become a permanent role
