As we grow our team, we are looking for a QC Supervisor to join us on a permanent basis, to support the QC Manager and Teams Leaders, to oversee the quality control processes, ensuring all our products meet established standards You'll be someone who can motivate and develop the teams reporting in to them and reduce errors and avoidable costs to the business.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
To lead by example in carrying out the everyday duties of the QC team.
To be responsible for the supervisory management of the QC team ensuring all HR and admin processes are recorded for all staff members; performance management, employee engagement, managing sickness etc. Ensuring this is all shared with the QC Manager to keep all files up to date.
To ensure team members have an acceptable working environment and the tools to do their roles to the best of their ability.
To manage IT systems for components to finished stock fulfilment, including multiple exchange orders.
Liaise and coordinate with support staff to progress issues concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of finished products to a schedule and within all relevant quality specifications.
Ensure that non-conformance is challenged, and countermeasures are agreed and implemented.
To maintain and track a stock inventory of failed stock.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience of these essential criteria:
previous supervisory experience
strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively speak, read and write in English
competent user of MS Office, including Excel
attention to detail
Warehouse experience desirable
