Tolsa UK Limited is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced and driven QHSE Lead to join our team at our new facility in Louth. About the Role



As the QHSE Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the QHSE Manager to establish and develop the quality, health, safety, and environmental function at our new facility. Once operational, you will take the lead in driving quality assurance and HSE initiatives across all site operations, ensuring that our processes and products consistently adhere to the highest regulatory, customer, and company standards. You will provide technical expertise within laboratory operations, champion continuous improvement, and serve as a primary point of contact for both customer and regulatory audits.

Main Responsibilities



Maintain and promote safe laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to all Health & Safety procedures Lead the quality team with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Supervise and verify inspection, sampling, and testing of raw materials and finished products Ensure full compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory standards (HACCP, BRC, ISO) Coordinate and support site preparation for customer and regulatory audits Lead investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints, driving corrective and preventive actions Collaborate closely with production teams and support product development initiatives Champion high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and environmental compliance Mentor, train, and develop members of the quality team, supporting their growth and performance

What We're Looking For



Level 3 HACCP certification and strong literacy/numerical skills (essential) Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH) (essential) Proven experience in quality assurance or laboratory roles within manufacturing/production environments Hands-on experience with customer and regulatory audits (BRC, ISO, HACCP) Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills Leadership capability with a proactive, results-driven approach Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Desirable: Auditor certifications, experience in packaging/raw materials quality management, and a passion for continuous improvement
