The constantly evolving landscape calls for an approach that puts what is right, ahead of what is easy, and you will need to push ideas harder and ask difficult questions, giving our clients the assurance they need. Within the role you will:

Become a trusted business advisor to our clients, with a focus on quality and reputation Project manage client work Work office based and client onsite preparing and reviewing financial statements and updating management accounts (the position is office based and not a remote one) Build and maintain strong working relationships with your team and our clients, providing support to junior team members Constantly striving to push yourself, and the business further, knowing you're supported through every stage.

Knowing you're right for us.

Joining us, the minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ICAS, CA, ACCA ), and to be confident working on accounts of varying sizes.

You should also have at least 5 years' experience working with an Accountancy Practice.

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box.

Excellent knowledge of UK accounting and tax An interest in our clients, with the ability to confidently discuss business challenges and needs. Being able to manage a small team and meet deadlines. Extensive experience of using accounting software and Microsoft packages Project management experience An interest in maintaining and developing your technical and business advisory knowledge.

We only work a four-day week

Monday to Thursday 8am to 5.15pm (so no office or home working on a Friday ever and you still get full pay!)
