You must hold the IAPT qualification in Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD), be accredited by the BACP (or other governing body) and be available to offer face to face, full time therapy in Hull

Due to significant and projected growth an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the existing clinical team. You will need to hold an approved qualification for IAPT Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) and hold accreditation with an appropriate governing body.

House of Light is a charitable organisation specialising in perinatal mental health. We deliver NHS Talking Therapy at Step 3 in Hull and East Yorkshire and are a busy, well-established service.

House of Light has provided support to parents since 2007 and currently offers group, telephone, and email support as well as the one-to-one therapies.

We are seeking a highly motivated PCE-CFD Therapist to work full time although hours can be flexible to support our current contracts.

Our ideal candidate will:

Be accredited with BACP or equivalent governing body. Understand perinatal mental health issues such as postnatal depression, anxiety, trauma, and bereavement. Be able to carry out mental health assessments and risk assessments. Hold evidence of regular clinical supervision. Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain clear professional boundaries. Have proven ability to ensure safeguarding is adhered to.
It will be desirable for you to have:

experience of working with a wide range of psychological issues using counselling modalities. Have experience of working within IAPT/NHS Talking Therapies, in a service where agreed targets are in place with regards to contacts and clinical outcomes. Flexibility across hours of work when required.
