Qualified Afterschool Assistant
Job Description
We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Assistant and part time preschool practitioner to join our friendly team!
About the role:
You'll help provide a safe, fun and engaging environment for children at our after school club. Duties include setting up activities, supervising play, preparing snacks, and ensuring all children feel happy and supported at the end of their school day.
We cater to ages 3-11 years old .
We're looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children and creating a positive atmosphere
Is energetic, caring and reliable
Can work well as part of a small, supportive team
Level 3 childcare relevant qualification
Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
Hours:
Mondays: 12:00 - 6:00 pm
Fridays: 12:00 - 6:00 pm
extra after school hours available Tuesday - Thursday (typically 2.30 - 6:00 pm)
Term time only
Additional hours may occasionally be available to cover staff absence / bank relief
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.40 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
Work Location: In person
