About the Role
We are seeking a
qualified and dedicated Children's Support Worker
to join our residential children's service in
Nuneaton
. This role is ideal for someone who already holds a relevant qualification and has experience supporting children and young people with complex needs within a residential setting.
You will play a key role in providing safe, consistent, and high-quality care, helping children feel supported, understood, and empowered.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, child-centred care in a residential environment
Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
Support emotional wellbeing, daily routines, education, and activities
Manage behaviour using trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches
Act as a positive role model and maintain professional boundaries
Complete accurate daily records, care notes, and reports
Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and key work sessions
Work in line with safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent) - essential
Previous experience working as a Children's Support Worker (residential care preferred)
Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and behaviour management
Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and waking nights
Calm, resilient, and child-focused approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Full UK driving licence preferred
Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain)
