Dental Nurse

We are looking to recruit a full-time Dental Nurse (GDC registered preferred, though we are also open to trainees who are willing to undertake the recognised training course to gain GDC registration) to join our friendly, supportive team at our established general dental practice in the West End of Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance, ensuring the correct equipment and materials are available for each procedure Prepare, set up, and decontaminate instruments and surgeries in line with infection control and health & safety protocols Use our intraoral scanner to support patient care and record findings accurately in patient notes Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records on SOE/EXACT software Manage stock levels of consumables and liaise with the Head Nurse regarding orders Meet and greet patients with a professional, friendly manner and support them throughout their treatment journey Uphold confidentiality and compliance with practice policies and procedures at all times Work collaboratively with our Front of House team, providing occasional reception cover when required

Skills & Experience

GDC registered Dental Nurse preferred, or trainee willing to undertake the recognised course to gain GDC registration Experience of SOE/EXACT desirable Previous experience working within a mixed NHS and private practice advantageous Strong emphasis on patient care, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of service Ability to remain calm, organised, and professional in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner A flexible, team-player attitude with a willingness to support colleagues across different roles when required Please note: this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
