We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong commitment to patient welfare.
Duties
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.
Skills
Qualified nurse with relevant experience in a dental setting is essential.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
Implant dental nursing desired but not essential.
