Overview

We are a specialist dental practice in Bedford offering Restorative, Periodontics, Endodontics and Oral Surgery.

We are looking for an experienced Dental Nurse to replace an outgoing member or staff.

We would prefer a candidate with radiography qualifications but are pleased to provide funding and training for the right candidate.

We are a friendly supportive team and offer experience of all dental disciplines.

You must be GDC registered. Salary to be discussed.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all information is up-to-date in the IT system. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient care processes and enhance overall service delivery.

Qualifications

Relevant nursing qualification or experience in a dental nursing role is preferred. Strong patient care skills with a focus on delivering compassionate service. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Excellent communication skills. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy practice environment. Familiarity with IT systems related to patient management is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
