one year fixed term contract starting September 2025 to cover maternity. May lead to permanent position for suitable candidate.

Must have at least one year of dental nursing experience.

Dental nurse required to join our team in Great Barr, Birmingham. We have a close knit team with varied amounts of dental experience and qualifications, who all support and assist each other to contribute to the smooth running of the practice and allow us to be able to provide a high level of care to our patients.

Wisdom Dental Care is well established 5 surgery, friendly, NHS dental practice.

We are currently seeking a dental nurse for start September 2025 for one year

Qualified candidates with valid GDC certification preferred but will also consider trainees with more than 12 months experience. Experience of working with FD desirable

Full time (40 hours per week) - occasional additional weekend hours on a rota basis
In surgery:

Assisting the dentist chairside Re-stocking the surgery Preparing materials for appointments Carrying out decontamination duties Operating the suction Processing x-rays Perform all duties in line with the Code of Ethics outlined by the Association of Dental Nurses and the GDC To work on establishing productive working relationships with all members of the dental team
On reception (occasional cover) :

Arranging appointments, ensuring clinicians are regularly at full capacity Answering telephone and face to enquiries in a timely and friendly manner Processing patient payments and paperwork All admin duties as required.

Salary: negotiable, dependant on experience
