Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with practice protocols. Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient use of time for both patients and the dental team. Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and work areas to adhere to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and high standards of patient service. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and communication within the practice.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or training. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. Excellent nursing skills with a solid understanding of dental procedures. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Exceptional communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
