Overview
We are seeking a qualified, dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a supportive environment for both patients and staff and have an experienced background in assisting with dental implants.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Provide exceptional patient care by welcoming patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
Manage the sterilisation of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to meet health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, oral hygiene instructions, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of care within the practice.
Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and processing billing as required.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse must be qualified with experienced background in assisting with dental implants
Strong organisational skills
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally.
A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing a positive experience for all patients visiting the practice.
Familiarity with dental procedures and terminology is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
