Qualified Dental Nurse Position Available

We are looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join us full time or part time. Currently Monday - Friday but with the possibility of Saturday's and evenings in the future if needed.

Standard hours are: 8 hour shifts with 1 hour lunch break.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans and addressing any concerns they may have. Manage appointment schedules and coordinate patient flow within the practice. Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Support the dental team with administrative tasks as required, including filing and data entry.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or experience in a similar role. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Ability to work well within a team while also being capable of working independently when required. Decent chat and just be cool.
