We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse to join our busy mixed dental practice. To help our clinicians carry out the following procedures. General dentistry, Hygiene appointments, Composite bonding, Invisalign, Implants, Full mouth crown / veneer smile make overs and Facial Aesthetics. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services.
This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
Assist the Clinicians during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using SOE exact software & Digital TCO, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Sterilise and prepare dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. HTM01-05
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, payment options and post-operative care.
Support the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as needed, As well as taking patient payments. Setting up payment plans and finance applications.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices within dental nursing.
Qualifications
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or qualifications. ( Dental nursing diploma or NEBDN)
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Proficient IT skills for maintaining patient records and using dental software systems as mentioned above SOE Exact and Digital TCO. ( Experience on using SOE advantageous but not essential as full training can be given.)
A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
