We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. Responsibilities



Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Provide high-quality patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary. Sterilise instruments and manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and managing patient information efficiently. Uphold a professional demeanour while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients. Reception duties when required

Requirements



Relevant nursing qualifications with experience in a dental setting preferred. Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with patients and the dental team. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and utilising dental software systems. A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development within the dental field. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
