Requirements:
Qualification:
National Diploma in Dental Nursing or equivalent (required)
Compliance:
Valid DBS check and proof of Hepatitis B immunity (required)

Your role will be to assist the dentist with the day to day running of a surgery by :-
Setting up the surgery.
Performing the end of day procedure.
Welcoming patient into the surgery and provide with safety protection. Assist dentist with charting and clinical procedures including implants.
Process any lab work and x-rays.
Liaise with reception to ensure continuity.
Cleaning and sterilizing of all used equipment and instruments, spray and wipe down all surfaces between each patient. Setting up instrument trays and putting sterilized instruments away.
Segregate and dispose of surgery waste e.g. hazardous, clinical, recycling and household.
Be aware and follow practice protocols whilst carrying out all duties.
Ensure CPD requirements are met and recorded.
Reception duties as and when required.
