Goyt Valley Dental Practice is expanding, and we are looking for
two enthusiastic, qualified, and GDC-registered Dental Nurses
to join our growing team on a
full-time, permanent basis
.
We are a fully private dental practice offering high-quality care to our patients through both private and practice plan services. Our treatments include Invisalign, Composite bonding, Airflow, tooth whitening, general dentistry, and facial aesthetics.
About Us
Friendly, supportive, multi-disciplinary team including an Operations Manager, Reception Team, Dentists, Dental Therapist, Dental Nurses (with enhanced duties), and a Decontamination Technician.
Purpose-built, modern premises with a dedicated decontamination room.
Equipped with the latest technology including digital X-rays, Dentally software, digital radiography, and an iTero Scanner.
Committed to professional development, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care.
About You
You must hold a
Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing or a NEBDN National Certificate
, and be:
Enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable with a flexible approach.
A great team player with excellent communication skills.
Patient-focused, with a commitment to high standards of care.
Experienced in dental nursing with a drive to enhance the patient journey.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting dentists, hygienists, and therapists during treatments.
Preparing instruments, equipment, and materials.
Managing surgery and sterilisation procedures.
Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
Occasional reception duties, including diary management and phone calls.
Liaising with patients via telephone.
Stock control and other associated duties.
Skills & Attributes
Experience with dental record software.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good dexterity and co-ordination.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Friendly, approachable, and supportive - particularly with nervous patients.
Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
