What We're Looking For
We're seeking a GDC-registered Dental Nurse with a solid foundation of clinical experience and a desire to expand their skillset. Candidates with qualifications or experience in sedation, radiography, intraoral scanning, photography, or treatment coordination (TCO) will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Provide efficient, high-quality chairside assistance across general and advanced procedures
Prepare, maintain, and sterilise dental instruments and materials
Uphold rigorous infection control and decontamination protocols
Support complex treatments such as cosmetic, implant, and restorative cases
Take clinical photographs and scans (if trained)
Coordinate with reception and TCO team to deliver seamless patient journeys
Accurately update patient records and ensure clinical compliance
Occasionally assist across sister practices when needed
Requirements
GDC-registered Dental Nurse (essential)
Minimum 2 years' experience in dental nursing (private practice preferred)
Strong understanding of cross-infection control and chairside protocol
Confident assisting in a variety of treatments, including implants and cosmetic work
Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask in a busy setting
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach
Team player with a smart appearance and strong communication skills
Desirable:
Additional qualifications in sedation (SAAD), radiography, or scanning
Experience with TCO duties and treatment plan discussions
Confident using digital workflows and modern dental systems
