We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team on a
maternity leave contract

About us
We are a private dental practice established in 1985 in Greenwich, South East London. As well as general dentistry we offer dental implants, gum reshaping, root canal treatment, facial aesthetics, dental anxiety treatments, orthodontics, tooth whitening, and snoring prevention.
Our practice consists of 4 surgeries and a team of 25 including a specialist Orthodontist and specialist Periodontist.
We strive to offer our patients the best possible dental care and we firmly believe that one of our most important jobs is to arm our patients with everything they need to know in order to make informed decisions about their oral health.
Duties
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment before and after procedures
Provide support and reassurance to patients, addressing their concerns and queries
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental practice
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Contribute to a team environment by being dependable, proactive, and supportive
Skills
Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs
Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with patients and colleagues
Background in nursing or relevant qualifications that support dental nursing duties
Experience with SOE software
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy practice environment
Proven ability to work as part of a team, showing reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
Working Pattern
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8am-5:30pm and alternate Saturdays 7:45am-2:30pm.
