The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental practitioners in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with practice protocols. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness of the surgery area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications, ensuring an organised workflow within the practice. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and inventory control of dental supplies. Collaborate effectively with other team members to enhance patient experience and streamline operations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is essential A strong background in patient care is essential, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients and colleagues alike. Strong organisational skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
