Job Description

Urgent: Qualified Dental Nurse or Dental Nurse Apprentice with a minimum of 1 year experience, required for a busy, well established NHS Dental Practice in Queens Drive Liverpool providing General Dentistry.

SAlary 22,165.00 per annum depending on experience

Requirements: Good, caring general dental nurse skills, organised, friendly and a team worker.

Dental Nursing NVQ L3 preferred

GDC registered - paid by practice

Indemnity - paid by practice

Enhanced DBS check - paid by practice

Full Hep B Vaccinations and Titre tested

Computer literate - Ideally trained to use Software of Excellence (SoE)

Summary



As a Qualified Dental Nurse or Dental Nurse Apprentice, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care in a dental practice. Reporting to the lead dentist, your role involves assisting with clinical procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a sterile environment. You will utilize your core skills in nursing and communication, alongside your premium skills in organization and IT, to enhance patient experiences. A solid understanding of GDC regulations and NVQ standards will be essential in fulfilling your responsibilities and contributing to the practice's success.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures and ensuring patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records using computer systems and ensure compliance with GDC regulations. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with patients and team members, demonstrating strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed, utilizing IT skills for efficient practice management.
