Key Responsibilities:
Assist during dental procedures
: Ensure all instruments and materials are ready in advance to support smooth, efficient procedures.
Provide patient care
: Address patient concerns and questions before, during, and after treatments, offering reassurance and clear information.
Maintain accurate records
: Update patient details promptly in the IT system, ensuring all information is precise and up-to-date.
Sterilisation & cleanliness
: Follow strict health and safety guidelines to sterilise instruments and keep the treatment area clean and organised.
Patient education
: Advise patients on effective oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
Team collaboration
: Work closely with the dental team to ensure seamless care and improve the overall patient experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience
: Previous experience in a dental practice is essential.
Certification
: Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma, or currently in training.
Registration
: Active registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
Communication
: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Organisation
: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-savvy
: Proficiency in IT systems for patient management is beneficial.
Compassion
: A caring attitude with a genuine passion for patient care and enhancing the dental experience.
