We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sterilisation of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area. Manage appointment schedules and coordinate patient flow to optimise efficiency within the practice. Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required, ensuring smooth operations within the practice.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Nursing qualifications or relevant experience in a clinical setting are essential. IT skills for managing patient records and using dental software systems efficiently. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
